I'm not confusing anything I-Glow. Good luck finding a message from me in which I refer to the daily short volume as "short interest."

I enjoy data analysis and research, and I only use valid data sources. I will continue to rely on the OTC Short Report as a quick and accurate picture of the number of shares sold short each trade day. Again, this is FINRA data as reported daily by the MM's, and it is in a meaningful format.

I have zero interest in the Reg SHO bi-weekly reports as the data is always aged. It only reflects open short positions. When the numbers are low as in the July 15 aged report, this means the shares sold short were paid for in a timely manner. I consider this good news, not bad news.

The July 29 data is now available to anyone who cares about aged reporting processes.
