KNT, yer thought process is most CORRECT! read SEC-FILES, all stories told therein!

in reality:

every word in pr's are forewarded with multi-sentence-forward-looking-bs-disclaimers...leaving the greived without even grounds for a civil-suit.

while

SEC-FILES are forewarded with each constituent's signature and signed under full penalties of perjury and sarbanes/oxley.
