FULL: 4 More Years? President Obama speaks at the 2016 Democratic National Convention

*

The Democratic National Convention introduces President Barack Obama with a video highlighting his presidency.

Before President Obama took the stage for yet another incredibly brilliant speech, the DNC showed this video highlighting the amazing achievements, and obstacles, of President Obama. The glossy, 10-minute video narrated by Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston highlighted Obama’s achievements and challenges over his seven-and-a-half-years as president. It focused on his legacy and accomplishments of his eight years leading the United States, ranging from the economic near-apocalypse that greeted his administration through his leading a memorial for the Charleston massacre victims in “Amazing Grace.”

His first speech before a Democratic National Convention was in 2004, when he was an Illinois state senator, pushing his reputation as a political star.

Four years later, in 2008, he was accepting his first nomination from the president - and his looks have changed dramatically ever since.

Obama has showed signs of aging - including a few more grey hairs since his first day in the White House, and he isn't embarrassed to admit it.

At the beginning of his speech in Philadelphia on Wednesday, he joked: 'Michelle has made me a better man, and she hasn’t aged a day. The same cannot be said for me'

The video, produced by directors Peter Kunhardt and Davis Guggenheim, introduced Obama before he took up the microphone. Along with detailing the president's most significant accomplishments over the past eight years, Obama's DNC introduction video highlighted his character, connecting his achievements to the type of person he is.
