SCKT
I don't short any stocks. I also didn't think the quarter would be as bad as it was (I expected .10), Now I thought anyone holding it was crazy even before, because we knew the end of somo was coming and tough comps were coming up holding into that, didn't make sense. And then there weak seasonal period of q4 and q1 after that with more impossible comps this was known before yesterday.
I sold in the 3.30's before q1, I stated in previous posts fv was no more then $4 before q1. After q1 I stated that I lower my EPS estimates going foward, and the stock should be sold in the mid 3's granted it ran to the high 3's. I also commented about the tough comps then and I also said after the earnings yesterday that the outlook even dropped more, I mentioned the higher share count, but it is exploding, I mean that is part of the problem, even if it goes down a little. OE also are going up significantly which is another issue., the earnings outlook I would say is .20 max the next 4 quarters now, we went from .40 before q1, to .30 after q1, to .20 max after q2. The stock is still expensive over $3.00.
The truth is If you looked at my post on sckt before q1, I was cautious as I didn't think there was enough upside to hold at $3.30 or so. After q1 I said I'm not getting back in because I saw know upside from the $mid 3's, and I seen more issues coming up which i mentioned in posts from lower eps outlook, higher share count, higher oe, tough comps, and after q2 the situation admittingly got even worse then I expected on all fronts, higher share count, higher oe, less growth, less earnings then I thought. So SCKT is a stock that I originally cooled on because of price, but in reality the fundies have deteriorated badly since before q1 when i sold originally. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.
