Don't know if Erdogan was ever at risk .. the story of his getting away just in time from his holiday hotel could have anyone wondering.

I agree the door is open to an elaborate ruse, just still have no idea how it would have been managed.

and arrested only the sucked in ones? Which would mean none of those arrested were the top guys?

I agree, as left open in the link above, maybe it was a total ruse .. just I have no idea how he would have done it,
lol, personally, never been there .. if someone could suggest how he would have pulled it off that would be great.
