Kibush Capital Timber Authority Application Lodged
MELBOURNE, Australia, (JULY 6, 2016 7:00AM EST) - Kibush Capital Corporation (OTC: DLCR) announced today that its subsidiary company Aqua Mining (PNG) Ltd had lodged an application for a Timber Authority (TA) for 2000 hectares in Kwikila Station, Rigo District, 55 kilometres East from Port Moresby.
The total area held by the landowners in this area is in excess of 25000 hectares of primary forest, and Aqua Mining has agreements in place with the Landowners to commercialise the total area of 25000 hectares over time and with the appropriate Timber Authority approval. For the 2000 hectares TA application lodged we expect a resource recovery of 12 cubic metres per hectare, at a sale price of $USD750 per cubic metre $18M USD total revenue from the area. If we consider the value of the complete area of 25000 hectares the Resource would represent sales of $USD225M. We anticipate the TA application will be approved at the next meeting of the Department and operations will start immediately at that time. We are expecting logging volumes from this TA around 300 cubic metres a month allowing for weather that may hinder operations during the wet seasons. About Kibush Capital Corporation:
