Yes the begging to the court by the SEC to retrieve the hard drive is an oddity. I don't know if that is standard practice or not in the legal community but it sure does stink in this case. There is inside information and potentially tactics that evident collusion between a government agency and entities outside the government. Is there a conspiracy here? I don't know and I would think not. But why on earth would a government agency, who of course is above board in ALL its investigations, want certain evidence withheld from the defense and public domain? Makes little sense to me...
