I'm guessing mcig is still following a distribution and branding model, even with construction. They did away with r&d because it cost too much and they could never manage it properly. Id even argue there has been very little r&d since mcig's inception. I cant think of any patents they hold. I'd be interested to know how much they've claimed on the books for r&d. It might be eye opening.
The best richel can possibly claim is they have an exclusive agreement on the machine, but i doubt that...imo. They are probably taking the time to get permission to photoshop the machine with the rollies logo. Why else would they not already have it posted to the rollies page?
