Xena, To his credit, Bernie was the only candidate to talk about breaking up the big banks, the too big to jails. He also proposed a transaction tax on speculative trading, which if done right could shut down flash trading and a lot of the worst derivatives trading (some types of derivatives should be outright banned). Bernie wants to bring back Glass Steagall and re-regulate Wall Street in a big way. That's what is needed, but you'll never hear it from the Hildabeast or the other candidates who are fully beholden to Wall Street.

Unfortunately Bernie is way off on other issues (2nd Amendment), but at least he identifies the biggest problem we have - the totally out of control financial oligarchy that is running the country into the ground.
