OK, Nixon was a great President as Presidents go.
You have to remember that both the House and the Senate were run by the corrupt Democratic Party at that time and the Liberal Socialist press went unchecked at tha time as well.
A lot of the Democrats that railroaded Nixon ended up going to jail themselves or being ran out of office later down the road.
If it were not for the little Watergate break-in being blown all out of proportion for political reasons Nixon would have been remembered in history for being the very good President that he truly was.
The people that did the break in were wrong for doing so and Nixon was wrong for covering it up as well, but that doesn't change the great things he accomplished while being in office.
