Today I looked at the spider plots for the phase I-II glioblastoma trial. This was a dose-escalating trial of VB-111 in rGBM. Interesting to say the least. When looking at the high dose cohort... you can see the growth of rGBM is markedly slowed as compared to the low dose cohort. This was also observed in the waterfall plots in the phase II '15 rGBM trial as well. What these plots are showing to my eye is that the tumor is growing, but more slowly than would be expected and this is translating to an increase in overall survival. In about a year from now we will know if this is the case when the GLOBE trial reaches its interim look at the data.
