No, I'm not kidding and that's how it should have been done with overwhelming force, but instead of trying to wipe out the North, the dems running the war just tried to maintain the Status Quo.
It's the same mistake that has been taking place when dealing with the Middle East situation, someone has to win the war of ideas one way or another.
Maintaining the Status Quo in war doesn't work forever, espeacially if Israel keeps pulling back everytime they are winning and allowing their enemies to get stronger with each pull back, until eventually their enemy is going to have the upperhand. Then when and if ever Israel is on the losing end and calls for a cease fire their enemies are going to laugh and keep coming.
Israel wants a peaceful existance with it's neighbors, but unfortunately some of it's neighbors don't won't anything to do with peace.
These neighbors or the factions controlling them must be elliminated IMO


America is in the same predicament with other foes that are sitting back and quietly building their military as so to oppose us at a later date when they believe they are strong enough to safely do so.

Thank God for our developing Missile Defense and other secrete high tech systems and weaponry.
