It makes me every happy to see that the for profit journals are facing a crisis. It always roils me that they expect scientists to put in the time and effort to review the manuscripts submitted yet they pay nothing in return. They don't even give you a discount in the next submission you make. Now if only the recruiting and tenure committees at universities would stop using where something was published as some kind of metric of quality and importance, the stranglehold of pay for publish will be broken.
