Evening Justin...

I caught this just as I was about to sign off for the night... that weekday 4:00 a.m. rise and shine time comes all too soon on a Monday.

Flank steak was delicious. I wrapped mushrooms and onions with a pat of butter, a touch of oregano, a touch plus of basil, and garlic salt in foil and cooked them next to the meat. Topped the meat with A-1 sauce and the mushroom/onion mix and had them with corn on the side. Watermelon for dessert. I am stuffed right now.

Have enough leftovers between tonight's meal and last night's barbequed pork chops to take care of next week. If I don't have something I can quick eat, I wind up eating too late which is not good for maintaining my weight. <ggg>

That storm sounds dangerous. Glad you got through it all right. In Ann Arbor, the joke was... If you don't like the weather, wait half an hour and it will change... it was pretty true. My sophomore year, I had a Shakespeare final on April 23rd (his "official" birthday). We had had extraordinarily warm weather leading up to the exam. Most of the kids were there in sandals, cutoffs, and t-shirts. I was wearing the same with real shoes... for some reason, I grabbed my ski jacket before I headed over to take the test... In the middle of the exam, we heard someone say... "Oh sh*t." We looked up and out the window. It was snowing... temperature had dropped 40° in an hour and the snow was barreling down. Ah the good old days.

A limited social life is nice. I'm hoping to have one again some day. I find I need the down time (i.e. solitude) in order to rebuild my energy for the next social encounter. I think I can understand how you feel about going out.

Stock market... <ggg> I am very new to investing. My "portfolio" is limited at best. I don't read the stock boards... and would not after seeing what kind of jackasses post on the off topic boards... who could trust a word they say.

I have gotten some excellent guidance via email from one of the fellows I met here. He has helped me with my "strategy" and to help build my understanding of how this stuff works.

So...

How the hell did I wind up posting on an investment site... I followed the RB SWAMP defectors here about a year and half ago. And how did I get involved with RB... one of Ragingbull's founders is the son of friends of mine from Michigan... part of the MoJo crowd... MoJo being short for Mosher-Jordan the dorm where we met and formed long term friendships.
