simpsonrc1..............why would they have an astronaut on the staff for other than Public Relations?

Is he a scientist of some kind? I'm not being critical one bit, just wondering what value it adds other than the PR side of it.

I like to see patent lawyers, PHD Docs, more lawyers, and a very good PR staff. And the most important a very good sales person. One that can close a deal with other companies. He's got to be motivated by stock shares and price appreciation not just salary.
