In my college days, before I was a lawyer, I promoted and produced country western concerts on contracts as fund raisers for non-profit groups. I am very thankful that we got paid well. It is hard work convincing folks to spend money on a good cause when only 10-20 percent of the money goes to the cause and the rest goes to production and overhead costs.
