As a scientist myself, I often see such schlock science presented by companies as proof that 'they have something' tangible (to sell to shareholders). So when I see something in the tech field that I can understand, it piques my interest and helps me identify whether the claims are likely bogus or not. Still not sure how the pro-enzyme works in the manner they claim. Most secreted proteins (all enzymes are proteins) are translated inside a cell in an 'immature' form, translated by ribosomes near/attached to the inside of the cell membrane. A leader/signal peptide at the beginning of the protein strand helps to get them through the cell membrane of the cells that produce them, then as the protein pops out the other side (outside) of the cell, then that segment of the N-terminus of the peptide is cleaved off to release and produce the mature protein or enzyme. Coming back the reverse way, not sure how pro-chymotrypsin or trypsin works, and how it works preferentially on cancer cells than any other cell? I'll have to read up. But I like the daily volume here.
