Ziploc...

It was your post last January on the Yahoo board where you raised the possibility of a Lucentis/SRDX connection that motivated me to become a poster rather than a lurker on these stock messenger boards... I wanted to contribute my opinion that Lucentis is fundamentally different from the common perception of a drug because it is a binding protein, rather than a receptor agonist/antagonist, enzyme inhibitor, converting enzyme, .... As such, I worry about complications resulting from VEGF binding to Lucentis before it is released from the implant... So, in a perverted sense, you might be considered responsible for my presence here.

Although I am waiting for data before I consider a Lucentis implant worth speculating about, I do harbor muted enthusiasm that the I-vation triamcinolone implant will prove to be a valuable adjuvant to Lucentis therapy and result in substantial income to SRDX... I don't know anyone else that shares this enthusiasm... but sense some enthusiasm for Posurdex as an adjuvant for Lucentis; where Posurdex is analogous to I-vation-TA... I think I-vation/triamcinolone will be a potent competitor to posurdex due to the ease of removing the I-vation platform should complications arise... and due to the familiarity of ophthalmologists with intravitreal injections of triamcinolone acetate crystals.
