If Garnick didn't plan the trial based on Herbst + adding in some margin, then I think he needs to move on. I hope CP is right and certainly that CC conversation "leads" one to believe they planned the trial with plenty of margin for the control arm, which makes 10-11 mo. reasonable.

Edit: I have to edit this because Garnick has such an excellent reputation and history that it's inconceivable he didn't plan this trial well. And me? I don't have a shred of experience in this stuff.
