this is a public company so may be CEO King should stop giving himself raises, bonuses and options until he can bring the share price up for his boses (which is US).

While I fully agree, I think they need to go beyond it. Get the right deal done. Partner sooner than later. If not, King should resign and there should be cuts across the board.
