entdoc, kindly answer the questions posed in post just preceding yours :

""why would you say that Bavi should play no role in the treatment of "solid cancers."? [james asks]

N40K:I asked entdoc the same question, basically, early Tuesday morn. I answered the question by saying he surely does not mean to deprecate Bavi + other check-point inhibitors in treating solid tumors, post #260143:

"Do you still hold your belief that Bavi + radiation will also prove a viable therapy in many oncology indications, as we discussed over 1 or 2 dinners a few years back?

I gather you do not mean to deprecate Bavi + other immunotherapy biologics as viable entries in treating solid tumors---just Bavi alone as not so viable as Thorpe and SK envisioned many years go."

No answer yet from entdoc that I have seen."

Hmmm. Edit: in a way he did answer in his flashback, next preceding post answering nobody, #260227:

"...."Naked" [unarmed] Bavi was NEVER NEVER intended to be a stand-alone cancer killer. NEVER! But a lagniape that we never imagined is that BAvi is probably an immunological stimulant even when "unarmed" and used in the cancer treatment mix. And that immune boost is documented in severely immunologically crippled advanced cancer cases. But we are not, repeat NOT, in this because Bavi showed some measurable improved survival even unarmed..."
