T-Mobile comes to the front to help CSC. They are finally eating into the gap. How much will they pull back by the base of the Joux-Plane? Then how much can the leaders pull back when the let loose with their own charge up the Joux-Plane?

Kind of an unfair contest. A 20 mile time trial of Floyd by himself against a "team" of Jens Voigt, Christian Vande Velde, Frank Schleck, Seghey Gonchar, Matthias Kessler, with and a bit of help from a few other friends.

Still, Floyd has all but destroyed Pereiro. He will be gone immediately the moment the Joux-Plane climb begins.
