shtsqsh, this of Krugman's

Ripping up the trade agreements we already have would, again, be a mess, and I would say that Sanders is engaged in a bit of a scam himself
in even hinting that he could do such a thing.
Trump might actually do it, but only as part of a reign of destruction on many fronts.

could also have been included in Paul Rosenberg's post if he wanted to be entirely fair to Krugman .. i think it would be fair, also,
to note that the elitist views Krugman refers to are those elitist right-wing views on the gung-ho 'all good' pro-free trade right which
sorta sits, as i see it, on the opposite end of Bernie's left-wing 'all nix no good' as to the free trade deals already ratified.

If you have a look at my TPP posts you will see pro and cons, and comment that in reality the effect of the deals have been somewhere in-between
the elitist all-for rights which Krugman talked about in that one and the all-against left which Bernie and you and others seem to tend to expound.

I think that's, albeit rough, a pretty fair summary of the situation, and would be happy if you
could question it with more than unsubstantiated and inaccurate suggestion/opinion of yours.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
