I expected to see those names, though I thought you would include Wrangler too (which is now just cheaply made junk sold at Walmart or Sears).

Levis doesn't really cater to the working man anymore, they're after the same demographic as Urban Outfitters and a little older. Go in one of their stores sometime, very young. The top jean on their website is Skinny. Levis, once worn by men, now by Bernie's campaign volunteers. LOL

Dickies is catering to a bit of a different market than Duluth, their clothes are thinner, mostly for painters or indoor workers. And at this point they are carrying a stigma because they are old man clothes, high waisted, loose and square, the same way they were made 50 years ago.

Carhartt is definitely who I considered to be Duluth's most direct competitor. Though many Carhartt products have the same problem. They are heavy duty and they never let you forget it, thick, weighted, always feel like they still need to break in. Something if you're not working you would not wear. They moved production to China not that long ago, supposedly suffered the usual dip in quality afterwards.

Red Kap I haven't heard of and will need to look at.

Milwaukee tools is also testing the waters with interesting work and hunting clothing. I just saw a few weeks ago they created a full line of 12v heated gear. https://www.milwaukeetool.com/heated-gear
