It would have been better if they had waited until they had a partner (or two) lined up to do the preclinical testing that needs to be done, and if they had at least some sort of signed memorandum of understanding or contract in hand to get the work done
They have a partner, called world governments. How do you think they got orphan drug status for ampligen and alferon in the EU for ebola and MERS?
I, for one, appreciate the status report, the various options they have with both drugs and two delivery systems each and that they are indeed considering Zika and that they are in discussions with government.
