Ah... manageable...
Sweeping and edging? Gather you're in an area where the neighbors frown on the untamed look. I'm lucky... we're in the country... allows for some slack. My lawn gets mowed period. Fortunately the mulching option on the machine works well. Forget about edging. Occasionally I use my hand clippers to trim the the grass in front of one of my stairs and some other parts around the front of the house. The back by the fence is on its own.
