I'm the type who thinks impractical gifts like (ugh) jewelry are a waste of money if you need something like a washing machine. Can't stand jewelry anyway... too heavy no matter how small and light it is... feel like I'm walking around in chains... BTW... I've never had my ears pierced... what a gross third world thing to do to yourself.

My housewarming gift from my parents was the lawn mower. Couldn't have asked for a better present. <ggg>
