How old was the now kaput mower any way? Too funny. Glad you didn't rush to assemble the new one. What kind did you get?

I have a 6 hp Toro self-propelled. It is heavy which makes it hard to maneuver on the hills in front. In the back which has a gentle slope I often disengage the gears and run behind it on the down hill slopes. The best part is at the end when I let it drag me back up the S T E E P hill to the road and garage. By then, I need the help. <g>

Wood is finally stacked. My woodman is very good to me. This was far more than a cord. I am set for the winter already. I decided that it is a lot more fun to stack wood in the cold than in the summer. The adventure went with minor incident... not a good idea to put your thumb between the wood pile and the log you are slamming on to it... only smacked my head once. I am exhausted. Muscles are tired and all joints are sore.
