To bring the Nemegosenda Lake historic niobium deposit up to CIM and
NI 43-101 standards for reporting reserves, a preliminary design for
economic extraction through a strategic mine plan is required. Figure 12
shows the team’s preliminary design of an open pit mine. The
parameters listed below are based on estimates from industry and basic
rockmass parameters [5].

• Design an advanced exploration program for niobium mineralization
in the D-Zone to gain confidence in geometry, extent, grade and
tonnage
• Evaluate economics of D-Zone niobium mineralization
• Conceptualize a preliminary mine-plan for mineral extraction"
