"Hole locations are only important if you are going to mine some day"
With all due respect to es1 this statement is probably about the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
No one would ever even to bother to drill or explore any mineral or oil project anywhere for anything if they didn't think that project may be a mine someday.
Why would anyone spend money on a project if the knew it couldn't be a mine?
You need to know exactly where you are with your drill holes so one can calculate reserves . Engineers cannot do their job without that precise data.
