DNDN – A cover story in Barron’s two weeks ago (the one with the Pinocchio CEO on the cover) featured an outfit called Business Intelligence Advisors that analyzes companies' CC transcripts and CNBC interviews for truthfulness on behalf of hedge-fund clients. The article was a great read and one of its themes was that investors ought to pay attention to what companies do rather than what they say.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Business Intelligence Advisors has advised its clients to short DNDN based on the company’s actions being wholly inconsistent with the notion that Provenge is a blockbuster-in-waiting with a compelling data package.
