BioProgress: update on MRSA containment system and other patent filings
25/05/2006

Cambridge, UK, 25 May 2006 – BioProgress plc (AIM: BPRG; NASDAQ: BPRG), the speciality pharma and healthcare company, announces that its subsidiary BioProgress Technology Limited has filed a UK patent application for the use of its XGEL™ film system technology in a waste containment system to help prevent the spread of MRSA (Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) in hospitals.

I strongly suspect/expect CDEX will be providing updates regarding their exciting new meth gun and/or the illicit drug detection application of their technology.

I was very happy to see and hear the information made available in the latest CDEX news video, here:

http://www.cdex-inc.com/video/MethGun_KGUN9Tucson_6JULY06.wmv

DID YOU HEAR IT?? Regarding the CDEX meth gun...."It will be available to law enforcement later this summer."

WOW!

And I like, strike that... I VERY MUCH like the cost/price info when contrasted with other tech. For example, the CDEX device is said (via other video news on the company Website) to be approx $10K, which is very favorable when contrasted with the price of devices like Ahura...

Ahura's MSRP=Approx $25,000-$49,000

Ahura's MSRP=Approx $25,000-$49,000

The CDEX meth gun will cost about $10,000 once it hits the market.

Frankly, based upon the FirstDefender info I've seen where "less than 60 seconds" is the apparent result time, I enjoy watching the OTHER CDEX videos. For example... watch CDEX's Mr. Foster use the meth gun here. It appears to me that an extremely simple red-light vs green-light result is presented in 2 or 3 seconds.

Accurate, safe, fast, reliable (etc etc) result. I like it!
