I would concur - and I think you're very close to having your wish granted - as time most certainly IS OF THE ESSENCE - a fact not lost on PPHM and most certainly GILD. OH - and they just happen to have a spare 24 billion on hand - which most would definitely characterize as "Big Boy" dollars.

As we all know, a truly Transformative Cornerstone Molecule does not come around every day. And having had such phenomenal success with their last two major indications, GILD most certainly will want to maintain the trend - and move rapidly to seize control of the molecule that might just propel them - in the not too distant future - to being the largest BP {by market cap - not employees} in the world. Now that's really the "Big Boy Turf."
