Bayer should acquire MON, say PJ analysts:

“We believe Bayer would be the most likely player to buy up divested seed assets from other consolidation in the industry, so why not buy the best seed company in the world,” the analysts write.

“Additionally, Bayer has the means to buy Monsanto with a cap of over $90 billion, and there would not be the expected scrutiny around tax inversion with a German company buying a U.S. company compared to a U.S. company buying a European company and domiciling in Europe.”
