With Ivor Royston's reputation and the board of Directors the company has here, I'd not be surprised if news releases just put the share price on an upward trend, enabling them to uplist straight to NASDAQ.

I also note that they appointed a new accountancy firm several months ago. I'd not be surprised if informal discussions have been taking place since before they put out the press release.
