Currently in Korea (and later this year in Japan) they are using 1xDO (data only) that has theoretical throughput of 2.4Mbps. Real world forward link throughput is 600-700kbps. 1xDO should be coming to Verizon's network (test markets) within the next year.

Sprint is currently putting its weight (along with Nokia and Motorola) behind 1xDV (data and voice). Will be a couple years before we see DV.
