Brief introduction:
Prof. Dmitry I. Gabrilovich, Professor in tumor immunology from the Wistar Institute, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.He was recruited into the “Foreign Experts of The Thousand Talents Plan”of China in 2015.Prof. Gabrilovich obtained his Ph.D. in Central Institute for Epidemiology of Russia in 1989. After that, he was faculty in University of South Florida, the Wistar Institute and University of Pennsylvania from assistant to full professor.Prof. Gabrilovich is the world-leading scientist in the field of Myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC), who discovered and defined MDSCs. He has done many highly original research in the field of MDSC and tumor, from basic, translational study to clinical immunotherapy.He published 228 SCI papers in journals such as Nature Medicine, Nature Immunology and Immunity. He is one of the most cited scientists in the world for many years with h-index as high as 68(date to January 2015).
