ET,
Can I ask you a question? Seriously now, no more jabs, no more tit for tat. In the quote you recieved from QCOM IR, this was stated...
We decided not to proceed when it became apparent that many of the infrastructure manufacturers were planning to use their own infrastructure chips for WCDMA
So first of all can we at least agree that someone is making a WCDMA chip since the infra manufacturers are planning on using their own? If we can, please read on, otherwise just srap this post...
Ok, if QCOM is not making them or supplying the IPR and decided to drop the CSM chips because others are planning "to use their own", someone has to be supplying these chips, right? If it is the infra company's or some independant company that I am unaware of I really would like to know who this competition is since it could directly effect my investment plans. Therefore it has to be someone with a tangible product and their own IPR, right? So who is this phantom company? Remember, if they are is using any portion of QCOM's IPR (i.e license, design, etc.), then that would qualify it as QCOM's chip.
BTW, Rocky is fine and sends you his best 8^)
