That part was not gross exaggeration. The ruins of Palmyra have been destroyed as far as I am concerned. Don't take my word for it. Take a look at the before and after pictures of the ancient ruins. To say that pieces have survived means that Palmyra has not been destroyed to me would be the exaggeration. But we will have to respectfully disagree on that one.
