I purchased a gun at a gun show and had to do the background check. If states allow sales at shows without a background check that is not a great idea. But nothing will stop a criminal from finding and buying a gun if they really want one. That is a FACT that many proponents of gun control choose to ignore.

Look at gun crimes in Chicago vs. other cities without the strict gun control. That is a great example of the utter failure of gun control. When law abiding citizens no longer have the right to defend themselves and their property with a gun then the criminals have free reign over society.
