I've said it before and I'll say it again, it doesn't matter that the product is free right now, all that matters is that it gets into as many hands as possible so that when they finally start charging people will pay if they already like it and see the value in it.
Consider this, today there have been over 20,000 downloads, 6 months from now the word will have spread and that they will easily be 200,000 downloads and so on.
Let's say that by the time they start charging for the product there are at least 200,000 active users, if only 1/2 of those users decide the product is worth let's say $9.99 a month to keep their kids safe then we are looking at approx $1 million in revenue a month, I'd say that is off to a very good start.
If my kids were still of the age that I needed this software I wouldn't bat an eye at $9.99 a month to keep them safe or even twice that if I had to pay per kid, I've paid for all types of security software and products over the years to keep them safe and I'm sure the majority of parents out there will do the same. I could easily see many grand parents paying the bill for parents that can't afford it, when I have grand kids I hope this product is still around, I'd pay to keep them out of harms way.
This is my 2 cents about the product, take it or leave it, I hope each of us does well but even if the product only ever generates enough revenue to keep it on the market and I never see a profit I'm ok with that, I have had faith in the product since my first purchase and I'm still in it until the end.
