There have been (at least) two short attacks on OTC stocks in recent months. With roughly the same dollar amount short as SIAF. American! Not Chinese.
The one on EKSO was an amateur short IMO. Still, the company was very lucky that the stock didn't drop more than 30%. There were no lawsuits and the company didn't even respond, I think. It will just fade away.
The one on CTIX were professionals IMO. The stock dropped more than 30%, the shark bar was up in gear, and things could go from bad to worse (If they can't get financing).
I'm not going to explain the difference, publicly. I talk too much already.
