The registration of this DBA/trade name is not confirmation of anything.
Claims supposedly made during a non-public conference call with select shareholders that DSUS is going to be the "sole" or "lone" FAA "tester" of UASs/UAVs for the Western Region of the US with income of $30,000 to $1 MM per test are blatantly false. The University of Alaska Fairbanks was designated as the UAS test site for Alaska, Oregon and Hawaii in 2013.

There are already sites in Alaska and Oregon. If Drone Services Hawaii is eventually contracted with the U of A to manage an FAA UAS test site on Lanai, the program at the university would likely make a public announcement.
Drone Services Hawaii is a "foreign" LLC in Hawaii as it is a Nevada LLC (Nevada "domestic" company):

Claims made by DSUS that Drone Services Hawaii is a "subsidiary" appear to be false as the company is privately owned by the Elliots and the Purdys. There is also no statement or documentation that Drone Services USA receives any income from Drone Services Hawaii whatsoever.
In fact, Mike Elliot and George Purdy seem to have a conflict of interest in their role as directors and offices of DSUS as they are pursing a competing business by selling some of the same drones supposedly sold by DSUS.
If George Purdy is negotiating with the UAS test program at the University of Alaska Fairbank to establish and manage a test site on Lanai, it appears he is doing so on behalf of the private company he owns with the Elliots -- not on behalf of DSUS.
If a site is eventually established, it would likely involve a much larger entity along with Drone Services Hawaii -- possibly the University of Hawaii. The owners of Drone Services Hawaii do not have seem to have the funds or expertise to establish and manage such a site on their own.
