what Gordon Research Conference and antioxydative property of black tea has in common???

ENdoTarget, at first I didn't know what to think about the term "black tea", but know after that last post some terms thrown out there were and to all, sorry for the mashed posts at times because its literally done in like 15 min's time because of day jobs one must landscape to buy PPHM : )

...you gents are missing the connections and I refer back to GRC and Stony Brook and Helena Paidassi and C1Q and black tea

I just started with GRC, Stony Brook and Helena Paidassi and going back again to how important Brookhaven Lab is and I am now 100% certain that this group is one of the collaborators... they have to be, because if not... it could have turned into a National Security issue and dig deeper, the largest academic user is Stony Brook ==> exactly where Allison Stopeck landed and brought into the mix where she will have access to data, equipment..etc to truly be part of the Translation

1) Brookhaven National Lab basics
2) Alison Stopeck lured over to Stony Brook re: Translational Research and access to the best equipment, data..etc
3) BNL operated by Brookhaven Science Associates
4) BSA Board Members.... and now we have enough puzzle pieces to continue this journey, because Alison Stopeck did not just show up on the front steps of Stony Brook for no reason at all... just like there was not an initiative for CSM Clinical Supplies Management in Fargo ND with ex-Bristol Myers Squibb CEO Gerald Finken being part of the company that sabotaged Peregrine Pharmaceuticals.
5) Helena Paidassi ..part of 2011 GRC event
6) 2015 GRC sponsored by Peregrine/NIH
7) C1q => BINDS PS

Looks like there is much more of an interest behind the knowledge coming out of PS Targeting that we could all ever expect and now back to my day job. This damn day job is keeping me from solving this puzzle sooner because there are more connections coming...

Who We Are

Brookhaven National Laboratory is a multipurpose research institution funded primarily by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science. Located on the center of Long Island, New York, Brookhaven Lab brings world-class facilities and expertise to the most exciting and important questions in basic and applied science—from the birth of our universe to the sustainable energy technology of tomorrow.

We operate cutting-edge large-scale facilities for studies in physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, applied science, and a wide range of advanced technologies. The Laboratory's almost 3,000 scientists, engineers, and support staff are joined each year by more than 4,000 visiting researchers from around the world. Our award-winning history stretches back to 1947, and we continue to unravel mysteries from the nanoscale to the cosmic scale, and everything in between.

#2) In her role as Associate Dean for Translational Research at Stony Brook, Dr. Stopeck will ensure the most advanced oncology therapies are offered to breast cancer patients and build the program’s ongoing research in new treatments and prevention strategies. In Medical Oncology, she will serve in a leadership role of the multidisciplinary breast cancer team that provides an extensive range of clinical resources and technologies for breast cancer patients including providing individualized treatment plans for breast cancer patients.

#3) BSA

Brookhaven Science Associates:

The Department of Energy’s (DOE) Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) is a significant asset to our country, through its scientific leadership and its economic impact not only on Long Island, but throughout all of New York state and the Northeast. Brookhaven National Laboratory is managed on behalf of DOE by Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA), a partnership between Stony Brook University and Battelle. BSA also engages six of the world’s premier research universities (Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton and Yale) in the governance and oversight of the Laboratory. The combined strengths of these entities make significant contributions to BNL.

As a leading research university in close proximity to the BNL site, Stony Brook offers scientific collaborations, joint initiatives, and joint research appointments in BNL’s core research areas, and provides a variety of services to BNL staff. As the world’s largest nonprofit research organization and manager or co-manager of six DOE national laboratories, Battelle offers management systems and tools designed specifically for research. The affiliated research universities offer world-leading experts for scientific oversight as well as additional opportunities for research partnerships, joint appointments, and other forms of collaboration.

BSA is committed to the future of Brookhaven National Laboratory as both a world-leading scientific organization and as a source of technology innovation benefitting our region, our nation and our world.

Staying at the forefront of science and technology requires thoughtful planning and vigorous action. BSA is working with the scientific community and with DOE to identify the most important opportunities in BNL’s primary research areas, and to develop the capabilities necessary to exploit these opportunities. BSA also is engaging regional companies and other stakeholders, looking for ways to increase the economic and social benefits of new technologies arising from BNL research.

#4 BSA Board Members

Brookhaven Science Associates is governed by a 16-member Board of Directors: Five appointed by the SUNY Research Foundation, five by Battelle, and one each from six of the nation's premier research universities: Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton, and Yale.

The Board is responsible for:
• Setting overall Laboratory policy and direction (see Science & Technology Steering Committee)
• Conducting an annual review of overall contract performance
• Conducting independent corporate self-assessments, and
• Providing advice and assistance to the Laboratory Director on significant scientific, technical, or management issues.

Dr. Samuel L. Stanley is the current chair of the BSA board.

The BSA Board is supported by several committees, including the Scientific & Technology Steering Committee, which commissions peer reviews of BNL's programs and scientific facilities, and advises the Board on scientific direction, user facility operation, and management and policy matters that directly affect the Laboratory's science mission.

7) C1q binds PS and look who was involved? : ) keep digging deeper

C1q binds phosphatidylserine and likely acts as a multiligand-bridging molecule in apoptotic cell recognition
