I caught both interviews. Wilkerson really summed it up best.

I think Cheney will go to his grave insisting he was right all along regardless of what history says.

He simply does not know how to say he was wrong and apologize for a tragic mistake in Iraq.

At the end of the day the only one left to defend him will be his daughter.

Even Nixon was able to rehabilitate himself in his later years. Cheney will never learn that lesson.
