To some of us, Joe, shooting is a hobby. We like to go to ranges and practice. I suppose my practice could be viewed by someone who knew nothing about it as a rampage, but I don't think so. Dictionary.com defines "rampage" as "A course of violent, frenzied behavior or action." My trips to the shooting range are not violent, nor are they frenzied. Perhaps you should try knowing something about a subject before you express an opinion?
