Seeking ethnanol production from corn and cellulose.
I'm not trying to be a pain here, but the concept of using sulfuric acid to hydrolyse plant fibre (corn or whatever) and using steam digesters to yield sugars from biomass would be exciting. Not that using corn seed to produce ethanol isn't, but people can eat corn seed. Not too many cultures have an appreciation for 'fodder' as a food source. bwdik?
