Personally I think he is very aware of what is left just didn't have the balls to be clean about it. Truth comes out very simply when we see dumps like today time and time again. How could he as CEO not know? He did them. If he hasn't had an eye on them then he should be removed for dereliction of performing his duties as CEO. He knows just didn't have the balls. He also was aware of the penalties kicking in for the late fillings. He also knows this is how he gets his pay.
