I was going to ignore the point. I don't always feel the compulsion. It wasn't about the money. I said YOU could argue that it is about the money. Notre Dame wants research money AND performance. If they smelled a scam...poof.

I do not remember reading this, but as written by mojo, that would be an incentive to perform. I was referring to a clause that states KBLB will perform a task by a certain date or void the agreement. If it is about the money exclusively, you don't put time limits in an agreement. You make it specifically about research dollars. As for the incentive, I agree that Notre Dame(and KBLB) would welcome reduced payments. That is the goal.
