As for the same post, I probably erred in assuming that the new dividend tax will draw liquidity from the market (and after doing some calculations, the sum is probably closer to $50 B per year than the $100 B I was guessing). While that money won't show anymore as "corporations buying their own stock", if they now pay that money out, it will most probably be reinvested in the market, so as far as total liquidity, that will not have a negative impact on the market.
